First Solemn Communion is a profound moment in a person’s life. It is the moment where they realize Who is received in the Sacrament of the Eucharist, and they prepare and receive it on their own.
Our parish program prepares these children to understand, appreciate and truly commune with Christ in this holy gift. There is a large emphasis on basic catechism, on how to approach for the sacrament of Reconciliation before approaching the chalice, and how to live out one’s faith both in the parish, as well as at home.
